Kimberly Vaughn

Some would say she has a leg up on the competition, having served as founder and CEO of A Sensitive Touch, where she worked to successfully address the needs of oncology and radiation patients through delivery of custom prosthetics. Kimberly also has a rich background in business startups, having built the first organic business division of American Mobile Healthcare, the world’s largest nurse and physician staffing company based in California.

A dedicated, passionate, over-the-top redhead (for now…), Kimberly practices a hands-on leadership style, which allows her to effectively partner with small-to-mid cap organizations.  She has successfully established Southern and Midwest life sciences divisions for DHR International Executive Search and built a bench of C-Suite talent through a four month long consulting and marketing campaign that pooled in over 100 executive recruits at BioEnterprise, a bio accelerator for the state of Ohio.

When Kimberly isn’t grinding it out for clients or making cameos at events like MidAmerica Healthcare Venture Forum or BioFlorida, you can find her judging Life Sciences competitions at leading universities and serving as a moderator for BEDC (an association by and for HR Professionals in the Southern California Life Science neighborhood). She is also an active board member with the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL), an organization linking lifelong learning to national and international economic success.

Catching a glimpse of Kimberly in the office can be just about as rare as spotting Nessie. Chances are she’s knocking on your door now… like we said, she’s dedicated.
